I love this video for the amazing way the drawings flow along to the talking behind them.

Motivation is something I’ve been very interested in recently. We covered it in Business and I realised that I’m not motivated enough in life or in work. Although this doesn’t answer my question, it does give a brilliant look at how businesses ultimately get in the way of creativity and innovation. With the bottom line always on their minds, CEOs and managers are always looking to make money and keep making money but this ultimately leads to them stifling what could’ve made them more money in the long run.

“You probably want to do something better, let me just get out of your way” sums this up perfectly in the video. The likes of Google and Atlassian with their 24-hour ‘do what you want’ sessions are brilliant and it’s why (namely Google) have done so well. Motivation causes innovation in my opinion.
